Narnia

I am so excited to see Prince Caspian when it arrives. I am a big fan of the Narnia books, and I really liked the last movie, and -- I'll admit it -- I was a huge fan of the BBC series on Wonderworks on PBS. I'm ready for Caspian.
And in the meantime, I'm enjoying listening to this set. I just love it. The Magician's Nephew brought me to tears. I highly recommend it for any other Narnia-philes out there.
Mental query to friends/ family -- is it in Eureka that someone has a NARNIA license plate? Or is that here?

I can't wait for the new Narnia movie. I love them. I hear the soundtrack to the movie is lovely too, not sure if you are into scores.

I love Narnia too! I've read the series over and over. My ten year old daughter and I are very excited to go see Prince Caspian. It is so great that someone is finally doing such a great job putting the stories on film.

As you probably already know, these are among my very favorite books. I was also a huge fan of the PBS ones--I have the set. Looking back now, maybe they weren't as "amazing" as I recall, but I think that's what I love about them anyway--they're really like a stage production, and a lot is left to the viewer's imagination. Jim and I have considered doing Narnia for a child's room (when they're a little older). Anyway, I liked the first one and I'm excited for this one--seeing it Sunday!

TOTALLY went opening day at 3:30 pm to beat the Keokuk rush. Its good. I like it slightly less than 'Wardrobe' Geoff more, Rhys the same. You decide. Definitely well done - makes me want to find me a Griffin.

When K realized that opening day was my birthday, she declared that the plan for celebrating. And so we did. It was fantastic, the music was sublime, it lived up to the first...It was awfully intense, battle-wise, so I spent a lot of time cuddling K and telling her it was ok, but overall a great experience. Can't wait to read your review!

I loved this one more than the first--really, really well done. I thought it was superb and wept heartily at the end. DEFINITELY go see it--it's really good. I think the kids are just lovely, and actually far superior to the Harry Potter actors, even though I still love those films too. And I felt far more of an emotional connection to this one . . .really liked Wardrobe, but loved Caspian! And it ended w/a Regina Spektor song, so that made it doubly awesome!
