I am laughing out loud -- OUT LOUD! -- because I have been there!!!
The trick is to tell her that if she sees him start to climb, she needs to call you and stay right beside him as he goes, because she's the Big Sister (and because she'll likely be the designated-screecher should he bumble up a bit).
