A little giveaway

I've decided to give away a very, very, very lightly used copy of the book, Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld. It's a nice book, but I'm downsizing and think now that I've read it, I can use the concepts pretty easily without the book taking up space.
If you want in, leave me a comment confessing how you pull one over on your children on this post by Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. central time. I'll choose by random selection. Feel free to pass along the news. International entries welcome, too.

My confession: I cut things in half and say, "See... now you have two!" in the happiest voice I can manufacture. I think #1 is starting to figure it out though.

Uh oh.. April is having a giveaway!!! Hee, hee! Want me to put you on my contest page? I saw her on Oprah and actually have had several talks with moms about this book. I'd like to try something from it.. what the heck, throw my name in. =) My sneaky way to get Landen to eat is acting like the food on his plate is the best stuff EVER! Or try to sneak it from him, like it's better than what I have.. usually works!

Oooh, do put in on your page, Andrea. You can see how much competition you have!

I love the idea of trying to sneak it from them. That's great. I am going to have to try that.

When my angels got too old to be smacked, not because I have any particular objection to smacking, but because by 8-years old they know how to dial the childline number, I decided to switch tack and use psychological abuse instead, as a method of child control. "If you don't behave I shall send you away to boarding school!" "No mummy, no!" Then one day the oldest replied, "Go on then..."

If my daughter doesn't want to try something I feed her off my plate and she'll devour something she wouldn't touch from her own plate.
I'd like to try this book!

Start to eat off their plate or tell them you are just going to eat all their supper and suddenly they figure eating their super is the greatest idea.

The giveaway winner is...
ANDREA!!!

I promise I did not rig this election to get away with not shipping! I put four pieces of paper into a hat and Annalivia chose the #1. So, Andrea, this book will come your way on Monday.
